Family loses their investment

Homes near schools with good reputations are always favored by parents wishing their children to have the best-possible education.

A couple gathered almost seven million yuan from their two families to buy a house near a key school in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, reported Southern Metropolis Daily.

Their child is supposed to attend the nearest school but with some small changes in policy, the child cannot go to the school they wish.

The couple insists the policy is unfair and claim the estate agency has failed in its promise that the child would go to the school if family bought the house.
