Leaders and senior officials from other countries and world organizations were also quick to react to the Bhutto's assassination.
 
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman,Qin Gang says China is shocked at the assassination of Benazir Bhutto and strongly condemns the terrorist attack.
 
Gegrge W.Bush, the US president, said, "The United States strongly condemns this cowardly act by murderous extremists who are trying to undermine Pakistan's democracy. Those who committed this crime must be brought to justice."
 
Hamid Karzai, Afghan President, said, "We in Afghanistan condemn this act of cowardice and immense brutality in the strongest possible terms. She sacrificed her life for the sake of Pakistan and for the sake of this region."
 
Gorden Brown, UK Prime Minister, said, "Benazir Bhutto may have been killed by terrorists but the terrorists must not be allowed to kill democracy in Pakistan. This atrocity strengthens our resolve that terrorists will not win there, here or anywhere in the world."
 
Navtej, Spokesman of Indian Foreign Minister, said, "Mrs. Bhutto was a brave and outstanding woman leader of the sub-continent. Mrs Bhutto's contribution to democracy, to the improvement of India-Pakistan relations, and to the restoration of normalcy within Pakistan will be an inspiration."
 
Amr Moussa, Secretary-General of Arab League, said, "We are all sad, we hope that Pakistan will emerge from this very turbulent period and again we hope the best for the people of Pakistan and again I express my deep sadness for the loss of Benazir Bhutto."
 
Ban Ki-Moon, UN Secretary General, said, "I'm shocked and outraged by the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and many other civilians people who have been killed by this terrorist suicide bombing. I call upon the government authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice and I condemn in the strongest possible terms this assassination of Mrs. Benazir Bhutto."
