Plane crashes in Buffalo, several killed

The plane, a Continental Connection flight operated by Colgan Air, was on a flight from Newark, New Jersey, to Buffalo, when it crashed in the Buffalo suburb of Clarence Center amid rain and sleet, they said. There were "multiple fatalities," a local official said in a new briefing carried by local television. Buffalo News said on its website that the 48 people on the plane and one person on the ground "reportedly died" in the crash.
