Toyota to resume production in all Japan plants

CHICAGO - Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) said on Friday it will resume the vehicle production at all its Japanese plants from April 18 to 27. ?

"The production volume is planned to be approximately 50 percent of the normal level," the company said in a statement.

Afterward, all production facilities will enter the annual spring holiday through May 9 and the company will make the decision on the post-holiday production after assessing the parts supply situation. ?

TMC halted vehicle production at all its Japanese plants on March 14 and resumed the production of three hybrid models in Japan on March 25.
