In 2017, the Meet in Vienna Chinese New Year concert is held in Austria.
The large-scale choral symphonic concert The Silk Road - Chang'an Men has been successfully performed in both Beijing and Vienna. Chang'an Men is a symphony by the 51-year-old composer Vijay Upadhyaya. In the work, the composer combines Western symphonic and choral techniques with traditional Chinese music, literature and philosophy.
