Deng Hai, a senior engineer with CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co and chief expert for CRRC, is also an outstanding Party member. As a Party member, he must push forward and rush to lead when there's trouble. And as a design manager of the Fuxing bullet train, he needs to work at least 10 hours a day on average - they need to design more than 100 plans and review more than 2,000 blueprints.

Although it is hard work to be a bullet train engineer, Denghai is still proud of what he has achieved in this field. In the future, he hopes he will be able to teach all his knowledge and experience to youngsters, encouraging and enabling more people to be engaged in the research and development of China's high-speed trains.
