A selection of China's top 20 stage works are being performed in Beijing's theaters over the whole of March.

The event is organized by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism; Beijing's Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Beijing Artists Management Corporation, marks the 70th anniversary of the the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the shows include Peking Opera performances and dramas.
