Financial measures
There are programs offering small loans, refinancing and financial bonds specialized for poverty alleviation. Every year, some 1 trillion yuan through the programs will be allocated to the regions in poverty and to poverty alleviation programs.
Families in poverty can get small loans of less than 50,000 yuan without collateral to start up their businesses, to be paid back at the benchmark interest rate within three years.
