China's top 100 retailers recorded more than 7 trillion yuan ($982.68 billion) in sales last year, among which seven saw their figures cross 100 billion yuan, according to a ranking released by the China General Chamber of Commerce and the China National Commercial Information Center.
Last year, China's consumer goods market maintained stable growth, with full-year retail sales of 38.1 trillion yuan, up 9 percent year-on-year, the report said. In 2018, consumption contributed 76.2 percent to the country's GDP growth, while the share of services sector was nearly 60 percent, official data showed.
