In October 2024, the "Yi Culture Fashion Week" took place in Nanhua county, in the Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture of Yunnan province.

Over the recent years, the region has actively cultivated the Nanhua Yi embroidery brand, driving forward the high-quality development of the Yi embroidery industry through innovative means.

This initiative has opened up a novel avenue where embroidered products transition into commodities, embroidered works serve as distinctive representations, and embroidery studios evolve into bustling markets.

As a result, Nanhua Yi embroidery has moved from being "hidden in the boudoir" to "emerging from the mountains."

Many rural embroiderers have realized the beautiful vision of "carrying their children, embroidering flowers, and supporting their families."

Through the Yi embroidery industry, 3,780 families have been lifted out of poverty and achieved prosperity.
