Chinese art-themed China Eastern aircraft completes debut flight

The ancient Chinese arts themed aircraft completed its first flight on May 7 departing from the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and landing at the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in Southwest China's Sichuan province, where it was welcomed with a conventional water salute. Tasked with showcasing Chinese culture across the seven seas, the themed aircraft will serve in international long-haul flights to Europe and the US, while also flying between major destinations at home and abroad.
