Shenyang was successfully approved as a national CR Express assembly center in January this year. Since its launch in September 2017, the CR Express (Shenyang) has handled more than 3,870 trains with an average annual growth rate of over 30 percent. The import and export commodity value amounts to approximately $9 billion, reaching over 50 overseas cities in 20 countries and serving more than 2,000 enterprises. It has become the largest-scale, fastest, most extensive and most cost-effective CR Express in Northeast China, creating a "golden corridor" connecting the region with the Eurasian continent.
