Speakers highlighted the main challenges of international communication. Zheng Kaijun, a journalist with Xinhua News Agency, said cognitive barriers shaped by information gaps and cultural differences often pose greater obstacles than geography. "Our mission is to build more 'cognitive bridges' across those barriers," he said.

Deng Yandong, editor-in-chief of Shenzhen Media Group, stressed that effective communication cannot rely on one-way messaging. He called for dialogue and reciprocal exchange, using storytelling and real-life examples to break down cognitive biases and resonate across cultures.
