Italian blogger Luca Ferraina traveled to Yunnan, China, heading straight to Dali Ancient Town and Xizhou ancient town for a culture-and-travel adventure full of surprises.
From nervously trying the local fried grasshoppers — only to discover a surprisingly shrimp-like flavor — to sipping Yunnan-style coffee infused with tea aromas, every bite and sip brought something new. In Xizhou, Luca experienced Bai ethnic tie-dye, watching his white T-shirt transform into a light blue one. "It's amazing," he said.
Street life, craft traditions, and warm encounters — Yunnan welcomes explorers in a multitude of colorful ways.
