From schoolteacher uniforms and community education centers to color-focused courses for children, college designers are extending their reach to diverse sections of society. Through these efforts, they contribute creative ideas while initiating grassroots-level aesthetic reforms.
The outcomes of such work are on display at Aesthetic Education Immersion, an ongoing exhibition on the campus of Beijing Normal University's School of Future Design, in Zhuhai, Guangdong province. The exhibition presents the works of the school's Project-based Learning program in 2025 — a long-term cross-disciplinary initiative that encourages teachers and students to take on public education assignments aimed at benefiting different social groups.
