Minister of Emergency Management removed from post

Wang Xiangxi has been removed from his post as Minister of Emergency Management, China Media Group reported on Thursday evening.
The removal was decided by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, on Thursday, it said.
On Jan 31, Wang was announced to be under investigation by the country's top anti-graft watchdogs for suspected serious violations of discipline and law.
