China strengthened its lead in the medal standings by securing one gold, one silver, and four bronzes on the fourth day of the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Paralympics.

Liu Zixu claimed his second gold medal in the men's sprint sitting event of para cross-country skiing at the Tesero Cross-Country Skiing Stadium. "This race was indeed quite close. I think as long as there is an opportunity, I will seize it," he said. "I am about to hear our national anthem again and feel very proud for my motherland."

Wang Shiyu earned a bronze medal in the women's sprint sitting event of para cross-country skiing.

At the Tofane Alpine Skiing Center, Liu Sitong secured her third bronze medal in the women's alpine combined sitting event, while Zhu Wenjing took her first bronze in the alpine combined standing event.

China now leads the medal table with a total of 23 medals, including nine golds, followed by Austria with four golds and the United States with three.
