The International Engine of the Year Awards are presented by Engine Technology International magazine. The awards involve the voluntary participation of 65 motoring journalists from 31 countries.
This year, the winning designs blend high-end performance with advanced technologies that reduce emissions and substantially improve fuel economy. Here are the winning engines and the models:
