A "school bus" accident that killed 11, including eight kindergarten children, on Thursday in a mountainous village near Changsha, Hunan province, has again raised concerns about the vehicles that take children to school.

The Changsha school bus was actually an over-loaded minivan. In many places across the country there are no proper school buses. The kids and their parents use all kinds of vehicles to reach school.

Safety on road of the school kids is never a small topic.
