In honor of the 65th anniversary of Chongqing’s liberation, a selection of work by legendary Chinese photographer Shi Panqi has been presented in an exhibition titled “A Moment of Great Change”.

The exhibition, now on display in Chongqing, Southwest China consists of 90 news photos taken by Shi during the time when he was documenting the historic moments,including the march of the People’s Liberation Army into the Southwest of China, the building of modern China, and the economic boom that benefitted local economies.
