Plum Blossom Scar and Vivian Chen
The 1993 TV series, Plum Blossom Scar, was adapted from a story in Chiung Yao's Plum Blossom series. The other two books in the series were also adapted for the screen.
Vivian Chen played leading roles in two adaptations of the Plum Blossom series. In Plum Blossom Scar, she played a fairy and innocent girl Bai Yinshuang whose name means white frost. This was the first time Chen appeared in a TV series.
