Xi congratulates CAAS on 60th anniversary

BEIJING -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday sent a congratulatory letter to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) on the 60th anniversary of its founding.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, said the academy has made a large number of major, original achievements with international advanced level, and contributed greatly to the development of Chinese agricultural sector.
