"The idea behind the 798 Gallery Night is to create a time to enjoy art for art lovers who usually have to work during weekly gallery opening hours and are engaged otherwise during the weekend," said Nikolaus Ellrodt, curator of All the Things I Love, currently on show at the U Gallery.

The previous Gallery Nights successfully drew "a different kind of visitors you would usually meet in the galleries during weekends and other opening days", Ellrodt said. "A lot of young parents, who work during the week and have family engagements during the weekend, are using this special opportunity to quench their thirst for exciting art."
