An award ceremony was held during a gala event in the capital to mark cultural creativity.

The 7th Beijing Cultural Creativity Competition on Thursday saw 54 cultural creative projects awarded, including an original children's play script, titled Tiangong Youth Camp. This play tells the story of young astronauts, and a digital project revolving around the Beijing Central Axis.

Six student teams from five Chinese universities also won awards during the competition.

The event attracted about 60,000 cultural creative projects since the event was launched in October 2023.
