Giant pandas at a conservation base in Shaanxi province were recently filmed enjoying their meals as Spring Festival approaches.
In Qinling Giant Panda Foping Rescue Breeding Research Base, the black-and-white bears were seen eating fresh bamboo, their primary food. They adeptly stripped bamboo stalks with their strong teeth and paws, consuming the nutritious shoots with clear relish.
Opened in October 2022, the base is primarily engaged in the artificial breeding, rescue, and treatment of giant pandas that are injured or sick in the wild. Currently, the base is home to four giant pandas.
