A toaster capable of cooking bread to a user's exact preferred shade of brown has been invented by a toast mad student. The 'Hue' smart toaster was invented by Basheer Tome (21) after he became annoyed at unreliable toasters. Using a range of colour sensors, the toaster watches the toast as it goes brown and pops it up when it reaches the desired colour, rendering burnt or anaemic toast a thing of the past.[Photo/CFP]
