Reptiles and amphibians, which are particularly sensitive to temperature fluctuations, have received a "warmth set" consisting of radiators, heat lamps, and insulating bedding. In the penguin house, air conditioning runs continuously to sustain a comfortable environment of 10 to 25 C for the Peruvian penguins. The same goes for the sloth and anteater enclosures. The meerkat exhibit is bathed in the glow of heat lamps.
